  • Author: Saad
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: Makes about 1¼ cups 1x
  • Diet: Vegan

Description

This smooth, naturally sweet prune puree supports digestion and blends effortlessly into snacks, smoothies, or baby meals.
Made with just prunes and water, it’s quick, gentle, and perfect for everyday use.

Ingredients

Scale

16 ounces (2 cups) pitted prunes

½ cup hot water

Instructions

1. Place prunes in a medium bowl and pour in the hot water. Let them soak for about 10 minutes until softened. Skip soaking if using very soft prunes and a high-powered blender.

2. Transfer the soaked prunes and water to a blender or food processor.

3. Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until completely smooth and creamy.

4. (Optional) Strain through a fine mesh sieve for an ultra-smooth texture, especially for babies.

5. Spoon into a clean jar or container. Let cool, then refrigerate or freeze in small portions.
