For the Fries:

  • 3 large potatoes, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions

  • Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix buttermilk with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add chicken tenders, ensuring they are fully coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Prepare the Coating: Set up two bowls—one with flour and seasonings, another with panko breadcrumbs. Remove chicken from buttermilk, dredge in flour, dip back into buttermilk, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Prepare the Fries: Soak sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove starch. Drain and pat dry, then toss with olive oil, salt, and paprika.
  • Air Fryer Method: Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Arrange chicken in a single layer, cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway. Cook fries for 15-18 minutes, shaking halfway.
  • Oven-Baked Method: Preheat to 425°F (220°C). Place chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway. Spread fries on another sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning once.
  • Serve Hot: Let chicken rest on a wire rack for a few minutes to maintain crispiness. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces!
