- Prepare the Coating: Set up two bowls—one with flour and seasonings, another with panko breadcrumbs. Remove chicken from buttermilk, dredge in flour, dip back into buttermilk, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Prepare the Fries: Soak sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove starch. Drain and pat dry, then toss with olive oil, salt, and paprika.
- Air Fryer Method: Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Arrange chicken in a single layer, cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway. Cook fries for 15-18 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Oven-Baked Method: Preheat to 425°F (220°C). Place chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway. Spread fries on another sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning once.
