Description

A decadent combination of creamy cheesecake, spiced apple filling, and a buttery crumble topping. Perfect for fall gatherings and holiday celebrations.

  • For the Crust:
    • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    • 1/4 cup melted butter
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • For the Cheesecake Filling:
    • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the Apple Layer:
    • 2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    • 1 tablespoon butter
  • For the Crumble Topping:
    • 1/2 cup oats
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Make the Crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill while preparing the filling.
  3. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Pour over the crust.
  4. Cook the Apples: In a saucepan over medium heat, cook apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and butter until soft. Spread over the cheesecake filling.
  5. Make the Crumble Topping: Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter. Sprinkle over the apples.
  6. Bake: Place the cheesecake in the oven and bake for 50 minutes, until the center is slightly set.
  7. Cool & Chill: Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For a crunchier crumble, bake it separately and add before serving.

Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother texture.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
